My views on hacking
Anyone who is computer savvy can hack into a computer.
People who tend to hack are really intelligent computer savvy people who were ignored, picked on, made fun of, ridiculed, tormented, rejected, unpopular, etc. Computers are vulnerable to hackers. Hackers tend to do the hacking in a quiet place like a public library, school library, a basement in their parents house, or sometimes in their house when everyone else is either asleep or not at home.
When I used to go to my branch library P. Faith McMahon Wintonbury library in Bloomfield, the librarians would tell us patrons that if we are using the internet computers to use Google Chrome because Internet Explorer and Firefox are hacked. One of the librarians caught one of the patrons (a child) when I was at the library some years ago hacking into a site. Anyone whose computer savvy can hack into websites, online games, email accounts, social networking sites, etc. Whenever anyone signs up for an email address they let them know if his or her password is strong or weak by the number of characters they use for their password. What I like about Yahoo is that they will let me know if my account have any suspicious activity that have been going on. Yahoo will let me know that I've been locked out of my email for safety purposes. Yahoo would then let me do a security question that I picked when I first signed up for the account and answer correctly then I would do CAPTCHA to make sure that Yahoo know that I'm human and not a robot. Yahoo will then tell me to change my password to a secure password.
Now I'm focusing on the hacking. Professional hackers which there will always be those who think they will never be caught and they are some hackers who get caught. Computer hacking is a felony which can lead to 5-10 years or longer in jail if caught. The more famous people are the more prone they are to being hacked. It's very important to secure your account. The reason why a lot of email accounts, social media accounts, and websites are hacked is because not everyone secure their password. If you are like me and have more than one accounts then you know that you must change your password to avoid Phishers reading your personal information & hackers hacking into your personal information and sharing your information. Securing your password is key to help stop the hacking! Also, for those of you who use Google Chrome like me know that Google Chrome will ask you if you would like be stayed signed in when you sign into your email account, social networking account, or your website say no or uncheck the box I would like to stay signed in. Phishers can browse through your personal information and get your password and hack your information. I can't count how many times that I went to Windsor Public Library in Windsor (too many to count) and saw so many accounts from different users who agreed to stay signed in their Facebook account, their Yahoo email account, or their Pinterest account and I had to sign out for them so that he or she wouldn't be phished or hacked by other users.
Lastly, we keep hearing Democrats and 3 Republicans say that Russia influenced the 2016 Presidential Election. For that to happen Trump and Putin would actually have had communicated on the internet with each other which we all know didn't happen. Putin made a statement in an interview which I thought was very accurate I do believe that it was on Meet The Press. Putin stated, "The hacking that was going on had to do with the US not Russia." Putin knew the Clintons' when Bill Clinton was in the oval office and knew all about the Clinton team. So even if Putin wanted to influence the US election, wouldn't everyone would stop and think for a minute that maybe Putin would want to help people that he knew that was already in the oval office (then first Lady Hillary Clinton now Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton). Putin only heard of Trump as a business man and didn't think a person who was outside of politics had any chance of winning it's kind of in sense like NCAA tournament where #2 ranked Louisville is expected to beat #15 ranked Vermont and Vermont pulls off the upset because everyone knew how good Louisville was in college basketball and they were expected to cruise over Vermont. Well, in a sense people really believed that Hillary Clinton was supposed to cruise over Donald Trump to be President and in Democrats minds it was an upset when that didn't happen. The Electoral College showed Trump 306-232 over Clinton on November 8, 2016 & when the Electors voted in the electoral college it confirmed that Trump won 304-228 over Clinton (both landslides). When someone loses in a landslide the only person to blame is the nominee and the team for that party in this case it's Hillary Clinton and her team to blame for losing not finger pointing at someone else.
The Democratic National Convention and the people associated with the Democratic Party whose emails were hacked did nothing to secure their passwords and that was pure carelessness on on their part. If those whose accounts were hacked would have done a better job in securing their accounts and not try to scheme to try to win an election for Hillary Clinton Russia wouldn't even be a topic of conversation. When Obama won in 2008 & 2012 no one was talking about Russia influencing an election. Lindsey Graham and John McCain are RINO's (Republicans in name only not true Conservatives) and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for whatever reason are the only Republicans that want this investigation to continue along with the 17 Democrats who believe in the myth that Clinton was sabotaged in the 2016 Presidential Election. Whether you like Trump or not everyone know that he won fair and square in the 2016 Presidential Election. My 2 Cents.
